Aston Martin has named W Series racing driver and James Bond movie stunt driver Jessica Hawkins as their driver ambassador.
In addition to her new role, Hawkins will take part in this year’s W Series, the international Formula 3 championship for women drivers, which will be held this year to support eight F1 Grand Prix races.
The 26-year-old from Poole drove in the first edition of the W-Series 2019 and finished 11th in the overall standings behind champion Jamie Chadwick.
Hawkins has also worked extensively as a stunt driver, including in the upcoming James Bond film No Time to Die.
Hawkins told the Aston Martin website, “I am incredibly excited to join the Aston Martin Cognizant Formula 1 team as the new Driver Ambassador and I am really looking forward to working with Lance Stroll, Sebastian Vettel, Nico Hulkenberg and the rest of the team .

“Her racing career has not had an easy time fighting for rides like all young drivers do, especially young women, and her determination to beat the odds is as evident as it is admirable.
“Jessica did well in the opening season of the W-Series 2019 and landed in the top 12 of the series’ ranking, so that she can advance into the next season of the W-Series, which is on the support map of eight Formula 1 grandchildren price will run this year.
