Horner: ‘Honda will get us into the frost in the best possible way’
The midfield
It’s still early, but the four best drivers in the championship standings are currently fighting for four different teams. Bottas and Perez are expected to work their way up the rankings, but we continue to assume that Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc will compete against each other all season to get the most out of their resting position. Ferrari and McLaren will renew their rivalry in 2021.
Pierre Gasly looked strong in his AlphaTauri but only scored six points in the two races. Aston Martin looked much better at Imola, but Sebastian Vettel has yet to score a point for his new team.
The lights in Portimao will turn green at 3:00 p.m. and the practice can be followed live via GPblog’s live blog.
