  • Aston Martin also announces Peroni Libera 0.0% deal

.Formula 1 team Aston Martin Cognizant will continue its partnership with Best Water Technology (BWT) after signing a multi-year extension.

The Austrian water treatment technology company has been working with the team since 2017 when it was known as Force India and then Racing Point and had an eye-catching pink paint job.

In contrast to last season, BWT will not take on the role of title sponsor for Aston Martin, but will support the team in a smaller capacity.

As part of the deal, BWT accents and logos will appear on Aston Martins Challenger 2021, which will be announced on March 3rd. BWT will also work with the team to promote sustainability and reduce plastic waste.

“BWT will support our efforts to become more sustainable in all business areas, but especially in our trackside activities – a goal that is in line with Formula 1’s own sustainability goals,” said Otmar Szafnauer, Aston Martin team principal, in a statement.

“This is a strong and historic partnership that enters an important new era and we are all excited to see what we can achieve together.”

Elsewhere, Aston Martin has announced a long-term, multi-year partnership with Peroni Libera alcohol-free beer of 0.0%.

The drink will be served in the team’s mobile home during most Grand Prix races and some external events, including the activation of the city center.

Peroni Libera 0.0% will also support Aston Martin in creating a new content campaign with drivers Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll.

In return, the brand will receive branding on Aston Martin’s car paintwork and team kits for the duration of the sponsorship.

The 2021 Formula 1 season begins on March 26th at the Bahrain International Circuit.
