On the occasion of the very first Formula 1 Grand Prix in Qatar, which ended on Sunday, Alfardan Luxury Motors (ALM) held an exclusive evening for Aston Martin customers and interested parties in the showroom of the British brand West Bay in the Alfardan Towers last Thursday.
In attendance was the Executive Chairman of Aston Martin Lagonda, Lawrence Stroll, who presented his team’s show car for the first time in Qatar. The Show Car edition of the first Aston Martin F1 car built in 60 years was presented in its green livery in recognition of the brand’s traditional racing colors and sporting heritage. Stroll also spoke about Aston Martin’s return to F1 and his team’s inaugural race in the country.
Stroll said: “It is a pleasure to be at the first Grand Prix in Qatar and to have the chance to interact with Aston Martin customers and prospects. The enthusiasm for our return to Formula 1 has been fantastic and it’s always a pleasure for us to share our passion firsthand; I am definitely looking forward to what the coming days will bring for our team. “
Samer Bou Dargham, General Manager of ALM, said: “It is a great honor for us to have Lawrence Stroll in our showroom and an incredible opportunity for us to see the Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One Show Car on the eve of the first Qatar tournament to be able to present the Grand Prix. ”
The Aston Martin Formula One Team – consisting of four-time F1 world champion Sebastian Vettel and multiple Grand Prix podium finisher Lance Stroll – made its racing debut earlier this year.
ALM, the official Aston Martin dealer in Qatar, opened the Middle East’s largest Aston Martin showroom in October 2020.
The showroom features the very latest Aston Martin global look and feel and showcases its full line of award-winning second-century models, including the brand’s first SUV, DBX.
The showroom is supported by a state-of-the-art service facility with high-end hosting capabilities for customers.
