WATCH: Alfa Romeo ignites the Ferrari 2021 F1 engine

Alfa Romeo had a lackluster season after finishing eighth in the constructors’ championship with just eight points. The team would be optimistic about the 2021 season as they are powered by a Ferrari engine that gives them hope to improve their form.

Alfa Romeo just released a video showing the sound of the engine after they started it for the first time. This is the second team after Mclaren to show what the engine will sound like in the new Formula 1 season.

Alfa Romeo car launch

The team would also showcase its new livery, which would run on the Formula 1 grid in 2021. The launch date for Alfa Romeo’s new car would be February 22nd. The location will be in Warsaw, Poland, where the team’s title sponsor, ORLEN, is based.

The car is said to be called the C41, which is said to be an upgrade from last year to help the team move forward on the grid.

Stick to their lineup

The line-up of the team for 2021 will be the same, consisting of veteran Kimi Räikkönen and Italian driver Antonio Giovinazzi. The duo scored four points each, finishing eighth in the constructors’ championship ahead of the fighting team of Haas and Williams.
