Mick spoke of the support and opportunities he has received. From his current team, Prema Powerteam, to the Ferrari Drivers Academy. And now of course Alfa Romeo Racing.

Callum Ilott, a graduate of the academy, will also ride the same route as Mick. He will drive the Haas VF-20. It is therefore very common to see these young drivers in action.

Schumacher’s future lies in Formula 1 next season

The talk of Mick’s rise to the top division has been going on for some time. At the beginning of September, Ferrari team boss Mattia Binotto confirmed that he was ready to drive in F1.

His uncle Ralf Schumacher and many other experts spoke about his promotion. And at a time when teams like Haas and Alfa Romeo are looking for new drivers, it makes sense.

Alfa Romeo, formerly known as the Sauber F1, was the same team that gave Charles Leclerc his chance. Although there is still a long way to go, one can imagine Mick’s development on similar paths.

What stood out, however, was his attitude towards recognizing the efforts of the entire team to achieve his victory. He made it a point to appreciate her and not just focus on himself.
