Emma Raducanu says she loves life after winning the US Open
It’s been a week, but Emma Raducanu’s sensational win at the US Open still doesn’t seem real.
The British teenager had to qualify for the tournament in New York and won three games before the actual first half of the season, but not even lost a set on the way to a notable win.
The 18-year-old’s life has changed dramatically in a matter of days, and now – with a business empire allegedly on the way – she is on her way to becoming a global superstar who can amass a fortune of up to £ 1 billion.

Raducanu has already begun to see the effects of her success and it might not be long before she becomes one of the highest paid young female athletes in the world.
But who are the athletes who are currently paid the most?
We looked at this year’s Forbes list of the 50 highest paid athletes in the world and picked out the youngest.
Twenty-six ended up being the final point, showing just how much potential Raducanu has now when it comes to earning power.

7. Max Verstappen, 23

The now 23-year-old has not yet won a world title, but has developed a compelling rivalry with seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton, with the drivers’ championship expected in his future.
