For the F1 fans among us, you will likely recognize the best drivers of the past few years. With Lewis Hamilton taking first place in numerous races, closely followed by Max Verstappen (who is currently on the rise and could secure the title in 2021), many are wondering what the future of F1 will be and if it will be better than the big ones of now.
Looking ahead to 2030, it will be very unlikely that Hamilton will take over as the number one driver. He is now 36 and will likely retire soon. Hence, many will wonder who will be the best drivers of 2030.
With that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the drivers to come and see who could potentially be the best in 2030.
Max Verstappen

Max Verstappen gradually wins more and more races and brings more victories than ever in his career. At the age of 24, he could compete with the best drivers in 2030. That will make him younger than Hamilton now, so it’s likely that Max will still be in the game.
Max is a Belgian driver who started in Formula 1 when he was only 17 and became the youngest driver and winner of all time in Formula 1. He represents Red Bull Racing, with whom he wins more races. So only the future will tell whether it will stay there until 2030.
Liam Lawson

A younger member of the Red Bull Racing F1 team is 19-year-old Liam Lawson, who has been on the road for many years. At the age of 16, Liam was part of the Formula 3 squad. He is now fighting for the F2 title and who knows where he could be in 2030.
Liam was part of the same F2 team as Alexander Albon, a former F1 driver. So he has great insight into the F1 team and may even be able to secure some connections to bring him on if he can get first place in his F2 races.
Jehan Daruvala
Jehan Daruvala is another member of the F2 Red Bull Racing Team. The 23-year-old hasn’t won as many races as Liam, but he’s close. He ended the last F2 season with a surprise win in Bahrain. Hence, Jehan is going in the right direction.
He will likely have to wait a year or two before joining the F1 team. But at such a young age he still has plenty of time until 2030 to become one of the best F1 drivers.
George Russell

Speaking of a different team: George Russell was a profound Mercedes-Benz F1 driver in his early F1 years. At the young age of 23, he still has many years to go before he retires. If it continues as long as Hamilton does, it will go well into the 2030s. George Russell now drives for the Williams team. Even though he hasn’t seen that many wins there, he’s still practicing. Who knows, maybe in the years to come he will join another more established team and win more races.
Russell is reportedly not afraid of the competition and will take off his socks in order to someday get to where Hamilton is. It is therefore clear that George would like to pursue his career in F1 in the years to come. George insists that he is ready to show his skills to the world in order to be crowned Formula 1 champion.
Théo Pourchaire

Théo Pourchaire is a relatively new name in the world of formula racing. However, Theo is a talent that shouldn’t be ignored. Although he was only recently promoted to F2, he had an excellent F3 season and moved to F2, where he quickly took his first F2 win in Monaco. The Sauber pilot has a lot to offer. At just 17 years old, he probably still has two decades to compete and work his way up to become the best F1 driver.
With just three years under his belt and two titles, he’s on track to become one of the best F1 drivers in 2030. He will likely have a long way to go and a lot of experience before he is called up to F1. But if Pourchaire can continue his recent development, he is sure to stand out as one of the young talents who could grace Formula 1 in the future.
To sum up, there is a lot of great talent out there that could make 2030 a competitive year for F1. There are members of the F2 and current F1 teams who want to be the best and we hope their drive will take them to the top because they are all worth it.
