- DMG Mori machines continue to produce parts for Red Bull cars
- Manufacturer Red Bull Racing also offers service and technical support
The Formula 1 team Red Bull Racing has extended its innovation partnership with the machine tool manufacturer DMG Mori for several years.
Before the team entered Formula 1 for the first time in 2005, the German DMG Mori came on board at Red Bull as a machine tool supplier. In 2012, the company became an innovation partner of Red Bull.
During the renovation, the machines from DMG Mori will continue to mill parts for the Red Bull car, from small connecting elements to transmission components. The company will continue to provide Red Bull with service and technical support during the term of the contract.
“We are pleased to extend our innovation partnership with DMG Mori,” says Christian Horner, Team Principal of Red Bull Racing.
“The machines and services from DMG Mori are an essential part of our success on the way and we look forward to further expanding our relationship in the years to come.”
Steve Finn, Managing Director of DMG Mori UK, adds: “We are very proud to have extended the innovation partnership with Red Bull Racing Honda for another year. Working with a fast-paced industry gives us a great opportunity to hone our skills and deliver real innovation. “
DMG Mori has supported the team since it entered Formula 1.
