Overall, the Red Bull Racing squad has set the fastest pit stop times five times this season and was the only team other than Williams to have all four tires changed in less than two seconds.
This year’s series of world’s best pit stops means the team has received the DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award with one race remaining and the goal is to keep improving the circuit even further.
One small step, but what’s next?
As part of the Zero-G initiative, in which all four tires on a thoroughbred Red Bull Racing F1 car are changed thousands of meters above the ground, the team will take to the skies to test their pit stop skills in weightlessness. Check out a teaser video below.
