Max Verstappen is currently leading the 2021 championship by six points over Lewis Hamilton. For the young Red Bull driver, it was one of the best seasons in Formula 1 because he has a title-capable car for the first time. One of the youngest, who has given Verstappen a lot of praise, is his Red Bull Racing team-mate Sergio Perez, who has so far called him “Driver of the 2021 Season”.
When asked by reporters who he thought was the standout driver this season, Perez chose Max Verstappen for his ability to make the fewest mistakes. The Mexican said:

When asked if there were any obvious areas that Verstappen was missing, Perez said:
“I have to think about it, but I don’t think there are any. No obvious ones yet. It’s not easy to be Max’s team-mate because he is one with the car. He delivers at a very high level.
