The Red Bull team is known on the Formula 1 track as it continues to break records and standards in the racing world. They have fans all over the world, but many of them don’t know the facts behind their rise to power. This company has its own secrets, but any great team that found their way to victory would say the same.

10 You have been accused of fraud
This team was accused of cheating to win a race in 2013 after Sebastian Vettel won a race by 32 seconds over his competitors. This is unknown in the racing world and the other teams tried to catch him for technical reasons.
They accused the driver of using traction control during the race, which is against the rules and has been in place since 2008. Red Bull Racing apparently denied the charges and no further action was taken, but it’s still one to be recorded in the history books.
9 The term “Shoey” was introduced by a Red Bull F1 driver
The tradition of the “Shoey” began in 2017 under the direction of Red Bull’s own Daniel Ricciardo in 2016. When he stood on the podium, he took off his shoe, filled it with champagne and drank it.
Then he passed it on to the other drivers who had made it onto the podium, and although they were skeptical, they all drank from his disgusting shoe. It doesn’t seem hygienic, but it’s a tradition Red Bull can claim for itself.
8th You have won four world championships
Red Bull may be a newer team on the track, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t win their fair share of wins. This phenomenal team has won four double world championships in a row. In addition, they can say that their drivers have made it onto the podium 165 times.
This may have happened before, but understanding their history makes it even more impressive. They managed to make a name for themselves literally and figuratively in record time by gaining supporters around the world.
7th Red Bull actually owns a second team called Toro Rosso
Toro Rosso is also owned by Red Bull and was founded in 2006. Their stats are nowhere near as good as the Red Bull Racing F1 team’s, but their drivers use this as an exercise before moving on to the other team. It is considered their junior team in the racing world where they train aspiring drivers to take on for their more prominent racing team.
Toro Rosso should not be confused with its junior team, founded in 2001, which aims to find young drivers between the ages of fourteen and twenty.
6th Volkswagen almost teamed up with Red Bull’s F1 team
The papers were all signed and ready to return in 2015 until the Volkswagen scandal was exposed. This company apparently had devices built into their diesel vehicles to cheat the emissions tests so they would pass.
In the end, they owed a $ 18 billion fine and lost the engine manufacturing rights contract for that Formula 1 team. Red Bull couldn’t see any other option as they didn’t want to take heat to support them after the scandal.
5 Many of their drivers come from their junior team
Red Bull had already founded a junior team for people between the ages of fourteen and twenty before they bought the Formula 1 team.
This junior league is designed to discover drivers at a young age and make them the top racers of today. There were several racing drivers for the Red Bull team, including Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo and Daniel Kyvat.
4th Her full name is Aston Martin Red Bull Racing
This team is commonly called Red Bull Racing, but what a lot of people don’t realize is that their full name is Aston Martin Red Bull Racing. This started in 2018 when Red Bull made a deal with the automaker, but it’s more of a sponsorship than anything else.
It works with its engineers and designers to develop cars for Formula 1 as well as for Aston Martin’s private vehicle line. It helped both parties financially and with their vehicles to realize their dream together.
3 The team was originally known as Jaguar Racing
The team we now know as Red Bull Racing was officially known as Jaguar Racing before it was sold in 2004. According to BBC Sport, this team was originally owned by Ford and they ended up selling the team for a dollar, but there was a catch.
The new owner had to invest $ 400 million in the team over the next three Grand Prix seasons. Red Bull decided to take a chance and it has paid off as the team keeps making it onto the podium.
2 A limited edition Red Bull drink shows Dan Ricciardo’s face
Dan Ricciardo was glued to the front of a special batch of Red Bull beverage cans back in 2018. The fans were instructed to scan the code on Snapchat to unlock a special “Smile like Dan” filter for the fans. They were then directed to submit a creative photo or video and a jury selected a winner.
According to the Red Bull website, the winner received two premium grandstand tickets, two plane tickets, accommodation for two, $ 500 worth of drinks and food, a meeting with Dan himself, and more.
1 Guests can now view the cars in their factories
The Red Bull factory is located in Milton Keynes, UK. It’s not open to the public, but guests of those invited to visit the factory can now see the full-size cars. You have a factory tour that you can take part in on September 5, 2019, for the low price of € 250. It is also possible for us to take a look inside through a video that they have produced and which is available on their website.
