Joan Mir does operate
Joan Mir has decided to undergo surgery. After the Malaysian Grand Prix in which he accused of nerve problems in his right arm, the Spaniard decided to wait for the last race in Valencia to understand whether the intervention was necessary or not. Although during the Valencian GP Mir did not feel the pain again, he still had some discomfort that led him to choose the surgery.
“I had a tingling sensation in my fingers during the last five laps. It is nothing that affects my driving, which I am happy about, but I felt something, a feeling that I did not like. I will explain to the doctor what we can do” declared the world champion in MotoGP in 2020.
“I would like to undergo surgery, without any medical knowledge. For the sensations I had, I think we should solve the problem by going under the knife,” concluded Mir, as reported by Motorsport.com.
In any case, the Majorcan rider will still be at the start of the Valencia tests where he will test his bike for the first time, in the new adventure with the Honda team.
