Ducati, Pecco Bagnaia received a penalty on the starting grid
The weekend of Pecco Bagnaia in Misano does not start in the best way. The Ducati rider was sanctioned by the race marshals for driving excessively slowly during the first free practice of the San Marino Grand Prix.
In particular, the Ducati rider would have created a dangerous situation at the end of the session, preventing Alex Marquez: for him he received a penalty of three positions on the starting grid in view of Sunday’s race. If he gets the best time on Saturday, Bagnaia will start only from the fourth box, in the second row.
The Piedmontese recorded sixth place in the first free practice sessions: the best was the leader of the World Championship Fabio Quartararo.
