Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP Introduced In India, Priced At Rs. 34.99 Lakh

Ducati India has launched the more powerful Streetfighter V4 SP hyper-naked priced at Rs 34.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP is more expensive by about Rs. 14 lakh and Rs. 10.76 lakh over the standard and S variants respectively. For the extra money though, you get a state-of-the-art spec motorcycle that promises ultimate performance on the naked. The bike gets a host of changes including more sophisticated components while sporting the special “Winder Test” livery borrowed from Ducati’s MotoGP and WSBK motorcycles. The paint scheme comprises matte black for the body panels, matte carbon finish on the winglets and brushed aluminum on the fuel tank. The iconic Ducati red wraps the paint job beautifully.

The Streetfighter V4 SP has a notched weight of 196 kg, 3 kg less than the Streetfighter V4 S

But the big upgrade comes on the hardware side of the Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP. The bike rides on more premium Marchesini forged magnesium wheels bringing weight savings of 0.9 kg, while the brakes have been upgraded to Brembo Stylema R calipers at the front. The SP shares its suspension with the Streetfighter V4 S using the Ohlins NIX-30 front forks and an Ohlins TTX36 rear shock absorber and Ohlins steering damper with the second generation Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 system in control. The Streetfighter V4 SP uses the same Panigale V4 springs and hydraulic with the fork spring preload reduced from 11 mm to 6 mm. Other changes include adjustable aluminum and CNC machined footpegs, a carbon front mudguard, and a lithium-ion battery.

The 1,103 cc, Desmosedici Stradale engine makes 205 bhp at 13,000 rpm, and peak torque of 123 Nm at 9,500 rpm

Power comes from the 1,103 cc liquid-cooled, Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine that belts out 205 bhp at 13,000 rpm and 123 Nm of peak torque at 9,500 rpm. The bike gets a nine-disc STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, which is said to Offer a more effective anti-hopping function during aggressive downshifts. Controlling all that power are a host of electronic aids including cornering ABS, traction control, slide control, wheelie control, launch control, engine brake control, and more.
