Valtteri Bottas looked after his teammate Lewis Hamilton after the exhausting Saudi Arabia Grand Prix. Bottas worried about Hamilton after he was seen breathing heavily after winning the race with a broken front wing.
Controversy arose at the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix when Hamilton’s Mercedes drove into the rear of Max Verstappen’s Red Bull.
Verstappen had illegally overtaken Hamilton after one of the numerous safety car restarts and was asked to return the position. The Briton was not aware of the instructions of the race control to Verstappen and in a moment of confusion drove him into the rear, causing the Red Bull a rear wing damage. The seven-time world champion also damaged his own car and finished the race with a partially broken front wing.
Valtteri Bottas asked about Lewis Hamilton’s health as he saw him extremely tired at the end of the race. Hamilton then recovered with personal trainer Angela Cullen by his side.

Lewis Hamilton’s silence sparked rumors of his resignation
Lewis Hamilton has not made a public statement since his controversial loss to Max Verstappen at the end of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix earlier this month. His silence worries his fans amid rumors of his retirement from the sport. The seven-time world champion was “disaffected”, said Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff. However, Wolff hopes the Briton will continue in the sport.
Wolff spoke to the media and said:
“Lewis Hamilton and I are disaffected at the moment. I really hope that both of us and the rest of the team can work through the events with the FIA together with the F1 to improve the sport in the future. But we will never overcome the pain, the hardship on Sunday. “
Experts like Nico Rosberg and David Coulthard are confident that the 2022 world champion will return hungrier than ever for the record-breaking eighth title. Coulthard said after Hamilton’s loss:
“He’s a phenomenon and an incredible athlete. He has already committed for another two years. He’s a team person, he’s committed to this team and will be there next year trying to win his eighth world title. ”
