Just a few weeks ago, our spy photographers discovered the Mercedes-AMG One on a field day at the Nürburgring. There was only one problem, however – these were just stills and we would love to see the Green Hell hypercar round in its latest evolution.
It looks like our prayers have been answered as the same AMG One prototype is the subject of this CarSpyMedia spy video on YouTube (embedded above). That was made pretty clear by the license plates on the spy photos below and the one shown above.

Although the prototype was presented in red, gray and black paintwork last month, it still wears the typical black and white camouflage on the ring. This doesn’t affect the brutal performance as seen on the video. You’ll pretty much get acoustically pleasing yourself with the Mercedes hypercar screaming at every acceleration, and it’s a breeze to watch the AMG One attack corners as if they were straights.
If you look closely, you will find that there was a light drizzle while testing the wide hypercar, but this did not prevent the test driver from going at full speed on the famous track.
The anticipation for the AMG One has existed since 2017, when Mercedes presented it as a concept. Among the many things it offers is the integration of F1 technology into the hypercar, including its hybrid system.
Even more important is that the AMG One, which is approved for road traffic, is to produce over 1,000 hp (746 kilowatts) from an ensemble of four electric motors and its small 1.6-liter V6 engine. It is noteworthy that this power plant is derived from the Mercedes F1 W06 hybrid racing car and can scream up to 11,000 rpm.
The Mercedes-AMG One is limited to only 275 units and is already being sold for almost $ 3 million each.
