To see: Sebastian Vettel inspects Mick Schumacher’s Haas after the end of the French Grand Prix, where he could only get P19.
While Red Bull and Mercedes were fighting for the top spot, the budding Formula 1 star is still fighting in the lower ranks.
Last year’s F2 champion Mick Schumacher barely gets past P17, and on Sunday his record got even worse when he finished P19 just above teammate Nikita Mazepin.
The fact is that Haas hasn’t developed much this year and is slower than the rest of the teams by comparison. In addition, the rookie couple are of no great help when going up against their peers like Alfa Romeo and Williams.
Maybe this time Schumacher requested Vettel or he decided to inspect the Haas car after the end of the French Grand Prix.
We wonder what the four-time world champion would have said to his godson. After a short check-in “Oh, maybe that’s why it’s so slow, definitely bad work”, we can only wonder that Vettel said this.

Sebastian Vettel rubs Ferrari
While we were witnessing that moment between the two generations of F1 drivers, Vettel had a good outing in France, where P9 was a decent result for his team while his teammate Lance Stroll finished P9, a modest three-point booty.
But while he reached his P9, he had a moment to give his previous employers – Ferrari when he overtook Carlos Sainz – a moment to step into the points classification.

On the flip side, the Maranello team went home empty-handed as Charles Leclerc had an unlucky day, finishing 16th after failing to recover from the initial pit stop crash.
