Valtteri Bottas took a humorous blow against his own Mercedes team after an unpredictable weekend at the Russian Grand Prix. Bottas, 32, eventually finished fifth in Sochi, despite having to start from the end of the grid due to his fifth engine of the season.

Bottas will join the Alfa Romeo Racing Team instead.
The weekend in Russia had started so well for Mercedes that they dominated the first two practice sessions, but on Saturday Lewis Hamilton collapsed in the pit lane during qualifying – an incident that stopped Bottas as a mechanic was busy with the car of the British cared.
