Red Bull advisor Marko gives an update on the developments in 2022

As reported by GPFans, Formula 1 will introduce a new generation of vehicles from the 2022 season. The drastic change would see cars better suited for racing and with bigger tires. F1 will also use synthetic fuel from next season, which is part of their sustainability goal.

Marko believes the team will be back at the top unless a team comes up with an extraordinary development on their car.

“At the moment we think we’re almost on a par with Mercedes. The engine will also change significantly (synthetic fuel). That is a drastic change. We think we’re both in front again, unless someone creates a golden shot like with the double diffuser. ”Said Marko.
