Although the Briton won three of the first four races, he is 18 points behind his Dutch rival in the drivers’ standings. To make matters worse, Mercedes doesn’t seem to have any answers right now to Red Bull’s breakneck pace.
As the championship battle intensified, Hamilton took some time to reach out to his fans. To thank them for their continued support, the Briton uploaded a collage of different tattoos to Twitter.
While some fans tattooed his signature “Still I Rise” slogan, some others tattooed the number 44 to show their support. Along with the collage, Hamilton also wrote a few words.
“TOGETHER WE RISE UP. Team LH forever. Your support means the world to me! “
