The Mercedes-AMG F1 team dominated the turbo hybrid era like no other team. The team won the F1 Constructors’ title in 2021, which was their eighth title in trot. Mercedes legend Lewis Hamilton finished second in the drivers’ standings with 387.5 points. Valtteri Bottas meanwhile had another strong season with a 3rd place in the championship with 226 points. The duo have performed exceptionally well over the past 5 seasons. However, the team lost the drivers’ championship to rival Red Bull, which ended its 7-year drought.

The team recently shared a celebratory post on Instagram after winning the Constructors’ title. It was well received by the fans who conveyed their wishes for this monumental achievement to the team.
To the delight of F1 fans, arch-rival Red Bull also graciously sent his wishes to the Silver Arrows. After the controversial race weekend in Abu Dhabi, the two teams managed to set off.

Red Bull congratulates the Mercedes team
Mercedes maintained its dominance this year and won the “Money Bagging” title due to a 2-3 place in the drivers’ standings. The Silver Arrows shared an Instagram post with the headline: “It’s official! We are F1 Champions of the World for the EIGHTH time. 
Proud of every single member of this Brackley and Brixworth team who made this championship possible. Historians, each and every one of you. “
Red Bull, who finished second in the constructors’ championship, also took a moment to congratulate the Brackley team. “Congratulations on a truly historic achievement, an 8th constructors’ championship. What a season full of fierce races and we are looking forward to more next year 
”, was the reply from the Red Bull official Griff.
Top teams graciously in defeat
Mercedes continued the winning streak with the constructors victory, while Red Bull took the drivers’ title. Drivers and bosses from both sides congratulated each other warmly.

After the race, there were videos of Anthony Hamilton congratulating the newly crowned world champion. Red Bull boss Christian Horner shared his conversation with his counterpart Toto Wolff, in which he communicated his wishes to the team.
