Mercedes 2022 car now “a toddler”: Toto Wolff
As reported by Speedweek, Wolff gave an update on the car from 2022 and said: “It will of course be a great car. We have a star on our nose and some great AMG lettering on the car, and Petronas and all our other friends are on it too. It looks great, of course, ”said Toto.

“This is of course still at an early stage. It is no longer a baby, but a toddler who takes its first steps in the wind tunnel, in which we can assess where the performance is going.
“But at the end of the day there is still a long way to go. We will develop the specification into February, which will then take to the track at the start of the season next year, and in between there could be a few seconds of power, ”said Wolff.

“We wanted racing cars with which the drivers could attack well. We want the field to move closer together, the teams to survive and the cars to look exciting even when they are stationary.
“The teams also didn’t want cars that keep losing parts. The new racers will be much more robust than today’s, ”said Brawn.
