Seidl does not expect anything from Daniel Ricciardo in his first season

In an interview with Motorsport.com, Seidl said: “I’m not going to say it’s a surprise. We know that jumping from one car to another is not easy when you only have a day and a half of testing. “

“I think there is no point in complaining about the day and a half of testing because it was an agreement between all teams to do just one test this year to save costs. So it doesn’t make sense to go into it too much. “

“We all hope that we will have more test days again for next year, especially because we know that we will have completely new cars next year,” concluded Seidl.

Ricciardo admits it was difficult to let Norris pass on team orders

Team assignments are nothing new in Formula 1. McLaren realized that Norris was faster than Daniel and ordered him to let go thoroughly. Ricciardo stated it was hard to swallow, but it played to the team’s advantage when Norris finished third on the podium at the Emilia GP.

Ricciardo spoke to Sky Sports, as quoted by Autosport, and said, “I think that’s where I have to swallow my pride. To be honest, the team was fair enough. They gave me time to show my pace. “
