Rosberg and Hamilton are considered to be each other’s greatest rivals. So it is understandable that they understood things about one another that the outside world did not.
During his pre-Qatar circuit briefing, Rosberg said: “You will have seen Lewis a lot in Brazil. He always balanced himself out, so he was in a lot of corners, broke in the corner, a little more inward. So he had clear air until he reached the apex. “
“There were some long turns where he literally left two meters of space at the apex of the apex to offset himself with the car in front so that he could run in clear air. Most people wouldn’t have noticed, but obviously I have the experience so that I can see it, so Lewis kept trying to get in the clear air to stay very close to the man in front of him. And he really liked mastering the art because he had so many people to overtake. So it really was like it was a completely different line that you would normally never ride the whole lap. It’s all about getting clear air in every corner, so it was really cool to watch, ”concluded Rosberg.

The Mercedes driver was not really up to date in the first two training sessions at the upcoming Qatar Grand Prix. In FP1, Hamilton could only be the fourth fastest of the session. But the Knight hoped to bounce in the second session of the day.
