The Mercedes F1 team recently offered fans a glimpse into their F1 factory. While the video takes viewers through the entire facility, from reception to the simulator, there was something in the video that no one expected.

A few minutes into the video, some eagle-eyed viewers spotted a Haas logo. So is there a top-secret Haas-Mercedes partnership that nobody knows about?
No, this was not a “secret” partnership between two competing F1 teams. In fact, Haas Automation makes lower-cost machine tools and specialized accessory tools.

It is clear that the Mercedes team is one of the customers and uses the machines in the factory. All in all, it was an extremely interesting tour of the factory. There was also a lot of insight into what makes Mercedes so successful. This just goes to show that the German giants took their F1 efforts very seriously.
It also shows that it’s not just the driver and crew who work hard on the track. The Brackley team has many people who work behind the scenes to produce dominant cars every year.
The Mercedes team is preparing for the next F1 race
The reigning Formula 1 champions will be in Monte Carlo next weekend. The principality is not a particularly happy hunting ground for the team. Despite having some victories on the road, Monaco doesn’t need power. Instead, it comes down to a high level of downforce.

In addition, the Monte Carlo road circle is a route with little deterioration. In other words, this will be a battle won with strategy.
While it’s extremely difficult to overtake on the track, it’s not impossible. Nevertheless, a lot of emphasis is placed on qualifying, as half the battle has already been won from the first row onwards.
