A weekend to forget for Red Bull
The Milton-Keynes-based team wanted to recover from the events at Silverstone two weeks ago. From the first lap itself, however, things didn’t quite go that way.
When all the drivers quickly drove into the first corner, Valtteri Bottas lost control of his Mercedes and met the two Red Bull drivers Verstappen and Sergio Perez. While the Dutchman came out of the crash with considerable damage, this one wasn’t so lucky.

In the end, the Dutchman couldn’t save his team’s weekend; he finished the race on P10 and moved up to P9 after the disqualification of Sebastian Vettel.
Now, Verstappen & Co would use the summer break to analyze and come back strengthened from the next round. They would hope to impress at Spa, possibly win, and leave the events of Silverstone and Hungary behind.
