Lewis Hamilton has always been a smooth customer on the track. The Brit is known for a top-notch driving style which he has made look effortless over the years.

However, it appears that Lewis Hamilton is just as sleek off the track as he is on it.

In a social media video that is making the rounds, the seven-time world champion can be seen hitchhiking in an unconventional way with the Mercedes Safety Car.

Lewis Hamilton decided to drive on the outside of the car door before casually jumping off and continuing on his way. Check it out here:

The clip seems to come from Monaco, in which the safety car drives into the pit lane. The exact year was not mentioned, but possibly from 2018, when Daniel Ricciardo was redeemed in the principality.

Lewis Hamilton could only get one P3 place during this particular Monaco excursion. The Brit won the next year and dedicated his triumph to the late great Niki Lauda.

The 36-year-old from Stevenage is hoping to regain his mojo after being brought forward to the 2021 World Drivers Championship by Max Verstappen.

Lewis Hamilton is expected to drive for Mercedes again when the lights go out at the Bahrain Grand Prix this March.

Lewis Hamilton fans sign online petition to reverse the final result of the 2021 F1 season

The loss of the world championship to Max Verstappen was a heavy pill for Lewis Hamilton. But it has proven to be a bone of contention for the Brit’s fans.

An online petition surfaced after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, in which Max Verstappen defeated Lewis Hamilton in the final round to win the world title. The petition was drawn up by a person named Patel Gordon-Bennett

Almost 40,000 grieving Lewis Hamilton fans signed the petition in hopes of getting the FIA to overturn the result.

The FIA has already completed its award ceremony on December 16, 2021 in Paris. Max Verstappen has been officially confirmed as F1 driver world champion for the 2021 season. The chances that this petition will have meaningful consequences are slim at best, if not nonexistent.
