F1 is now heading to Saudi Arabia for the second round of the 2022 season. However, many have still not gotten over what took place last Sunday in Bahrain. Even the seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton couldn’t stop thinking about last race weekend in Bahrain. He shares a post to remember his time in Bahrain and also rekindled his bromance with his former Finnish teammate.

The 37-year-old had a poor practice session in Bahrain as he was suffering from the Mercedes W13. The Englishman even failed to secure a front-row qualifying for the Bahrain Grand Prix, finishing in P5. Hamilton was one of the least favorites to get a podium in Bahrain. But he surprisingly finished third after both Red Bull drivers retired from the race due to engine glitch.

Later, the Silver Arrow driver went to his Instagram to share his amazing weekend in Bahrain. In that post, he even showcases his bromance with former teammate Valtteri Bottas, who left Mercedes this season to join Alfa Romeo. Both the drivers spent a long time together and helped Mercedes win 5 constructors’ championships together. Hamilton and Bottas might be on different sides now, but the bromance between the two continues.
Hamilton’s Instagram post reads, “Still thinking about last weekend. None of us were expecting a result like that, hard work and luck really pulled through in our favour. Definitely pumped for round 2, in the meantime enjoy these photos. Also, I had to hop off the parade because mans had to go didn’t land too gracefully but Valtteri didn’t look too worried.”
Lewis Hamilton breaks another Schumacher record
Michael Schumacher is one of the greatest drivers in the history of Formula One. The German great has set so many records throughout his career which seemed impossible to break. But the British driver Hamilton has broken many of Schumacher’s records. He even matched Schumacher’s record of winning seven world championships.
After the third-place finish in Bahrain, Hamilton broke another of the legendary F1 driver’s records. Schumacher held the most podiums in consecutive seasons, which was over 15 seasons. But Hamilton broke the record and now he has recorded 16 podiums in consecutive seasons since his F1 debut in 2007.

But the record which Hamilton eagerly wants to break is the seven-time world champion. The 37-year-old could have become an eight-time world champion last season. But lost it to Max Verstappen last season at the Abu Dhabi race. So, the Brit is eyeing to achieve this legendary feat this season.
