Hamilton used social media to laugh at the Mexican’s latest post and associate him with a scenario while on a date. The Brit shared his F1 colleague’s training video on his story with an invaluable caption.
“The moment you made an appointment. And she’s finally going. And you let it go Sorry, Sergio Perez, had to do it, ”it read.
[Lewis Hamilton on Instagram] “The moment you made an appointment …” from Formula 1
Perez shared the video a few weeks ago, showing the intense training an F1 driver had to undergo before each race weekend. This trend was fueled by Pierre Gasly. The AlphaTauri driver posted a video on social media showing his preparations for the 2021 F1 season.
The fighting was very evident in their facial expressions. And the videos made a coherent statement that F1 is one of the toughest and most physically demanding sports.
Hamilton’s funniest social media post
This isn’t the first time Hamilton has posted ridiculous content on social media. There was a time when the Briton’s contribution caused an uproar among fans. In 2018, Hamilton published an amusing video on social media with Hollywood star Will Smith, in which he “hijacked” the Briton’s car on the last race weekend of the year in Abu Dhabi. Hamilton had already won the championship during the season, and there was nothing in the final race for the seven-time world champion. Hence, the Act showed Smith, who showed interest in filling up for Hamilton for the final race weekend. Not surprisingly, Hamilton turned down the American’s offer. Therefore, the actor ties Hamilton to a chair with a rope while the former takes over the Mercedes W09 for the race.
Overall, this would have been a breath of fresh air for Hamilton’s fans, considering that her idol hasn’t joked that much these days. Could this be the result of a new and funnier version of the 7-time world champion? We hope so.
