Lewis Hamilton’s rise to Formula 1 and his subsequent career has been nothing short of a story for ages. Now the seven-time world champion has revealed who would play him if his life were ever shown on screen.
In an interview with Esquire Middle East and IWC Schaffhausen before the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Hamilton was asked who in his opinion would be suitable for portraying him in a film. He said:
“It’s difficult because you have to find someone, in general you have to try to find someone who looks like you. I don’t know an actor who I could say looks like me. Maybe I tell someone like Michael B. Jordan, for example, would be cool. But I mean, it’s a lot bigger and probably wouldn’t fit in the car, so it’ll have to take off. But I like his acting. “

Michael B. Jordan became famous for his portrayal of Adonis Creed, son of Apollo Creed from the Rocky franchise, and Erik Killmonger from Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
However, its size will be an issue, according to Lewis Hamilton. In an earlier interview with Graham Norton, Hamilton had mentioned how important it is for F1 drivers not to be overly top heavy, as weight plays a crucial role in racing pace.
Michael B. Jordan would surely have to go through a drastic weight loss to get in shape for a supposed Lewis Hamilton biopic. A tour in a Mercedes F1 car on a hot day in Sepang would probably be a good starting point for your preparations.
Lewis Hamilton unveils his most watched film
Lewis Hamilton also spoke about his most watched film. Many would have expected it to be Cool Runnings, based on the story of the Jamaican national bobsleigh team’s Olympic winter dream, as the Brit named it his favorite movie in the aforementioned interview with Graham Norton. However, Hamilton went a different route:
“Probably trading places or coming to America. I think I looked at those two … I look at each year, especially at Christmas. So probably trading places. It’s probably the film I’ve seen the most. ”
