McLaren driver Lando Norris has opened up on his “scary” robbery after the Brit was attacked during the Euro 2020 final between England and Italy, in which the Briton allegedly had a £ 40,000 watch stolen.
The 21-year-old is reported to be returning to his car in an official Wembley car park when he was approached by two men while returning to his McLaren.
In a team statement it was said that Norris was “uninjured, but understandably shaken” before the British Grand Prix.
On Thursday, Norris spoke about his experience and the impact it had had.
“I’m fine, I’m better,” explained Norris.
“I’m not in perfect shape – I’ve been better, I’m just trying to relax and make sure I’m fully ready, but there’s not much I can do.”
