With the conclusion of the Hungarian GP, the summer break in F1 began. The F1 drivers are relaxed, the next race at the Belgian Grand Prix takes place in two weeks. In the meantime, the drivers are spending quality time with their families and going on vacation to recharge their batteries for a hectic second half of the 2021 season.

Lewis Hamilton

The seven-time world champion and current driver in the drivers’ championship Lewis Hamilton spends his holidays by the sea. While the rest of the drivers like to go to trendy places, the Briton prefers a quiet and peaceful vacation.

Max Verstappen
A real contender for the end of Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton’s dominance this season, Max Verstappen flew to St. Maarten with his girlfriend Kelly Piquet, daughter of three-time world champion Nelson Piquet.
The Dutchman is currently on P2 in the drivers’ standings, eight points behind his arch-rival Hamilton.
George Russell and Nicholas Latifi
After the Williams F1 duo, George Russell and Nicholas Latifi, ended their point drought in Formula 1 and secured two points at the Hungarian Grand Prix, they traveled to Mykonos, Greece with their friends.
Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc has also been spotted with Russell and Latifi.
Lando Norris
Lando Norris, arguably the best improved driver in the first half of the 2021 season, traveled to Croatia with Dutch racing driver Tom Coronel. The young Brit has scored points every race weekend this season, except on the Hungaroring. Norris is currently on P3 in the drivers’ standings behind the two title contenders Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen.
Carlos Sainz
After a solid start with his new team, Carlos Sainz is spending his vacation in the water. The Spaniard secured two podiums for the Maranello team and is three points ahead of his team-mate Leclerc in the drivers’ standings.
Valtteri Bottas
Valtteri Bottas started his summer vacation in the lakes in Finland before leaving for the USA, where the Finnish rider will take part in the “SBT GRVL p / b Canyon” cycling race with his partner and professional cyclist Tiffany Cromwell.
Daniel Ricciardo
While some drivers drove to the beach and others to the swimming pool, Daniel Ricciardo from McLaren prefers to sniff the mountain air while climbing.
The Australian has had a difficult time with his new team this season. Ricciardo is currently on P9 in the drivers’ standings, 63 points behind his team-mate Lando Norris.
Esteban Ocon
After his first Formula 1 victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix, Esteban Ocon left for Monte Carlo, Monaco. The Frenchman is currently in P10 in the drivers’ standings, just one point ahead of his team-mate Fernando Alonso.
