Unfortunately, it looks like their graphic design team has taken an off. So, it was up to the twitter admin of Mercedes to increase the pre-race hype with a stunning graphic. Of course, they delivered it in some fashion. Well, at least 10/10 for your effort.

With an image of Lewis Hamilton on the top and a young George Russell below, it captured the attention of the fans, without a doubt. However, the text on the image tops it all. “Well done Baku. It’s race week,” it read.

The slogan ‘well done Baku’ was seen around the circuit during its first race in 2016. However, it became a meme soon after the race. At the same time, the fans certainly enjoyed the content. They took to Twitter to express their views on this piece of art by the Mercedes social media team.

There has been a lot of talk on the budget cap this season. And fans hilariously suggested the team let the graphic designers go as a part of maintaining the costs.

Lewis Hamilton’s woes in Baku during 2021 will not be forgotten anytime soon. He went straight out of the track because of break issues and, as a result, retired from the race. The Brit will hope for a better result this time around.

I can help be the part time designer if you like?

Can Mercedes deliver a positive result in Azerbaijan?

On the track, Mercedes will look to improve their performance after a disappointing Monaco GP. Their issues with porpoising on a bumpy track meant that Hamilton only finished P8 while George Russell finished P5.

However, like Monaco, the circuit in Azerbaijan also has slow and sharp corners. So many believe the Brackley outfit’s struggle will continue. Hamilton himself revealed the team could resolve their issues only when F1 moves to Silverstone during the first week of July.

“I hope by the time we get to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone we will have the car as we want it – to be able to fight with Ferrari and Red Bull,” the Briton said. “It would be nice if we can give them a run for their money at our home race.
