Alex Kalinauckas is the Grand Prix editor for Autosport and has been reporting on every Formula 1 race since the beginning of 2020. After completing his Masters in Journalism from Goldsmiths College University of London in 2014, he worked for a number of motorsport and technology publications and reported on national circuits as an autosport freelancer.
As a lifelong motorsport fan – no one in his family can explain exactly how or why such a development took place for the first time – Alex joined the Autosport team in April 2017 as Assistant Editor of the magazine for Formula 2 and GP3, before joining Formula E. -Correspondent and Auto Sport. com’s Plus Editor in March 2018. He lives in North East London and is constantly frustrated with the Central Line.
