The 2021 season has a lot to offer so far. The championship rivalry, the midfield fight and a lot of drama. With the recent announcement, it will surely be the perfect filler content when the season comes to an end.

What’s next at Spa is uncertain, but the behind-the-scenes look at the Hamilton-Verstappen rivalry will be fascinating. Things have escalated since the race in Bahrain, especially after Silverstone and Hungary. On the way to Belgium, the lead is only 12 points, with the British team taking the lead shortly before the summer break.

The rivalry had also drifted off the track. After Silverstone, there was a lot of talk between the drivers and their team bosses. Christian Horner has cemented his anger with the team after the high bills that Red Bull paid for a Mercedes damage.

The championship rivalry is just the tip of the iceberg of the Mercedes drama, and the second seat is still a long way off. The speculation about second place for Mercedes reached its peak this season. Especially after Hamilton’s three-year extension, the seat has long been unconfirmed. While a majority supports George Russell, Bottas has not yet lost his contact.

After the incident in Hungary, Sergio had to go out of the race and Max drove with an injured car.

Red Bull is angry; Mercedes is determined. Red Bull had fought hard to maintain the lead and in the course of two races it was all lost through no fault of their own. Mercedes, on the other hand, is not ready to let the rule overthrow so quickly.
