Valterri Bottas has only been able to focus on driving since confirming his F1 future at Alfa Romeo for the 2022 F1 season.
Before the Italian Grand Prix, the Finnish racing driver was confirmed to take over Kimi Raikkonen’s seat at Alfa Romeo. Since then, the 32-year-old has been claiming to be relaxed.
He delivered some strong performances, including a pole position at Monza, where he also drove through the field from the bottom of the grid to third. Last time at the Turkish GP, Bottas dominated the race in wet conditions and took his first win in 2021.

He said, “I really always had the confidence. But it’s nice to have a win and to remind you that you can win races. It’s been a while. To be honest, I definitely felt very relaxed after Monza and could only concentrate on driving, and that certainly helps. “
“I think the team was good, nothing really changed, everything is normal. Overall, the team has a good spirit and we are very motivated for the rest of the year and work hard as always. “

As a seven-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton is aiming for an unrivaled eighth title. Bottas could play a crucial role in the remaining six races of the 2021 F1 season.
Bottas won the last US GP in 2019 and is looking forward to fighting for victory this weekend. “I don’t have a crystal ball, but on paper it should be one of the good ones [tracks], I hope, “said Bottas.
