British racing legend Lewis Hamilton and his Mercedes crew had dominated the top tier of Formula 1 for almost a decade. This season, however, everything seems to crumble, because Max Verstappen wants to dethrone the always dominant seven-time world champion.

In the midst of the transition at the top, American stand-up comedian and passionate F1 supporter Bill Burr destroyed F1’s biased coverage of Hamilton.
Bill appreciated that commentators kept putting the British in the spotlight even when he wasn’t the race winner, with the Styrian GP serving as the prime example. On top of that, he also claimed that F1 is turning into a “shit show”.

What did Bill Burr say?
During a podcast, Bill pointed out that Mercedes are no longer the champions they once were, so insisting that commentators focus more on the driver taking the lead rather than getting stuck on Hamilton.
“You didn’t win. They are not champions. Why are you talking about them? Why are you talking about Lewis Hamilton? He didn’t fucking win. He’s not the leader at the moment, ”he said.

“Drive me up the damn wall. I remember a few years ago when I started saying, ‘fu * k Formula 1. I don’t look at that shit anymore.’ This is a Lewis Hamilton reality show, ”he added during the Bill’s Monday Morning Podcast show.
Bill was part of the Red Bull Racing garage back in 2017. The American stepped into the Milton Keynes outfit during the 2017 Canadian Grand Prix, indicating his love for the team.

The comedian looked at an example of Hamilton screwing up qualifying. And the cameras spotted the Brit with his hands above his head while he was in the car in the Parc-Ferme.

Bill claimed the commentators were busy covering how upset Hamilton was instead of covering the part where a driver secured pole position.
“I remember he had a shitty qualifying. Something happened to his car and God forbid he was 3rd or 4th. And he’s going into the garage, ”he said.
