Lewis Hamilton has loved Super Monaco GP II since childhood
Those who follow the sport are aware of the fact that Hamilton is an avid Ayrton Senna fan. The Englishman grew up seeing the four-time world champion dominate the grid. Further, Lewis Hamilton has stated at various events that he became a driver because of the great Brazilian driver.
Further, it also makes sense now why Hamilton’s favorite game is a 1992 Sega Genesis racing game. Because Ayrton Senna endorsed The Super Monaco GP II, and his name is also part of the game’s official name. Further, Hamilton’s love for this game is no less, even though he’s now a 37-year-old.
Recently, Hamilton shared an Instagram story where he’s seen playing this game as a kid, possibly from his carting days. Also, in that story, he’s seen playing the game as an adult during the Canadian GP. Undoubtedly, this shows how much Hamilton loves the game. Moreover, it proved that the seven-time world champion never changed. He’s the same person he was during his carting days.

Fans are well aware that the Mercedes driver is one of the most competitive on the grid. However, he also channels the same energy when playing video games. Hamilton got pretty competitive with himself while playing Super Monaco GP II during the Canadian GP this year.

Hamilton captioned a post of him playing the game, “Naturally, I got super competitive with myself. My personal best right now is a 49-second lap, pretty sure I can beat that tho. That was only after a few tries.”
