Both titles are decided and we’re down to the penultimate race of the 2022 Formula 1 season, as the sport descends on Sao Paulo for the Brazilian Grand Prix.

While it no longer holds its place on the calendar as the season finale, the Brazilian GP still holds a place in the hearts of both drivers and fans, as one of the best circuits on the grid and one that has been host to some iconic moments .

Many of those moments belong to Lewis Hamilton, who is still without a win this year. Find out how Hamilton stacks up in the Brazilian Grand Prix odds below.

Brazilian Grand Prix favourites

Max Verstappen (-225)

Verstappen was already crowned the 2022 Drivers’ Champion before the Mexican Grand Prix but still delivered a championship performance, taking pole position and winning comfortably. With his most recent win, Verstappen set the record for most wins in a season and there aren’t any signs of him being stopped before season’s end.

Charles Leclerc (+550)

Though Ferrari was roughly outpaced by Mercedes in Mexico, it still finds its lead driver, Charles Leclerc, trailing just Max Verstappen on the odds board in Brazil. Leclerc is still yet to win since the summer break, with his last victory coming in Austria.

Lewis Hamilton (+650)

Despite another competitive weekend in Mexico, Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes were unable to find a first win of the season. Hamilton’s record of having won a race in every season he’s raced in F1 is down to its penultimate race but there are few tracks the seven-time champion would rather win at than Brazil.

Some of the highest highs in Hamilton’s career have come here, and the country embraces him like no other — so much so that Hamilton was awarded with honorary citizenship earlier this year — with driver and country sharing affection for the late Ayrton Senna.

Understanding F1 betting odds

The most popular way to bet on Formula 1 odds is by simply picking the winner of a particular race. Other popular F1 betting options include which car/constructor will win and whether or not a particular race car driver will end up on the podium with a Top-3 finish.

F1 race odds usually look like this:

This means that on a $100 bet, you’ll stand to profit $1,400 if Perez wins that particular race. If one driver is especially dominant, you might see a minus sign (-) ahead of that driver’s odds like this:

This means that you would need to bet $120 to win $100 on Verstappen winning the race.
