MSP signed a contract with McLaren in late 2020 and provided a cash injection of around 200 million euros that seemed to have ruined even the minimal chances of Audi taking over the role of McLaren in Formula 1. He also recognized the team’s optimism about the future regarding the upcoming regulatory changes.
“We are financially well positioned,” he said. “Our sales are growing rapidly. I think we have more commercial partners than any other Formula 1 team has announced. MSP has given us the financial resources we need to be profitable. “

Brown confirmed that McLaren is returning to the spotlight thanks to their recent performance upgrade in Formula 1.
“They were a very stabilizing factor; Both from a tax and an emotional point of view, within the racing team. You’re great partners, you’re a sports investor and want to win. They understand the sport because Formula 1 is a unique business. We couldn’t be happier after a year, ”he said.
