The richest man in the world is Jeff Bezos, and that’s not really that surprising when you know he’s the man behind Amazon. Its wealth comes from the questionable purchases you made with your Prime account due to free next day delivery.
When it comes to cars, at least, he’s investing that money in pretty spectacular ways. The American has a pretty tasty collection, including a Koenigsegg CCXR, a Bugatti Veyron, and a Lykan Hypersport.
If you want to enjoy part of the Bezos lifestyle, get behind the wheel of an old Honda Accord. It was what he got into when he first made it as a billionaire in the ’90s – though it’s no guarantee you’ll see the same wealth when you get behind the wheel.
2. Elon Musk – McLaren F1, * this * James Bond Lotus Esprit
The real Bond villain, Elon Musk, is in charge of Tesla, the electric car company you may have heard of lately.
He originally made billions creating PayPal, among other things, and has spent his money on some interesting cars over the years. Not only did he own a McLaren F1, but Musk bought * this * Lotus Esprit from the Bond movie The Spy Who Loved Me for nearly £ 600,000.

3. Bernard Arnault – BMW 760Li
Just imagine – you are the boss of the largest luxury goods company in the world, pacifying the rich with brands like Moet and Louis Vitton. You will want a luxury car to match, right?
Well, if you are Bernard Arnault, you may not care too much about it. Sure, the BMW 760Li it was seen in recently is a beautiful car – but it’s one before 2015 that doesn’t exactly scream to be at the forefront of the fashion industry. Every man for himself.
4. Bill Gates – Porsche 959
Microsoft founder Bill Gates was once the world’s most famous man, despite humbly slipping to fourth place on this list in recent years. The shame.
However, with a net worth of £ 91 billion, he’s not exactly short of cash – and that is reflected in his taste for cars.
Most notable is his Porsche 959, which he bought brand new in the 80s. America has a law making it illegal to import cars under the age of 25 that are not approved for release on this side of the Atlantic – meaning Gates couldn’t smuggle his into the country.
It was confiscated for over a decade before he finally managed to gain access to it, and a “show and display” rule was put in place which meant that cars could be allowed if they traveled less than 2,500 miles per year .
5. Mark Zuckerberg – Pagani Huayra, Honda Jazz
He may look like an android at times wearing human skin as a costume, but Mark Zuckerberg knows how to make an emotional purchase.
The man who founded Facebook has a very special car in the Italian V12 Pagani Huayra with two turbochargers.
Cool right? Well, you’d hope he’d use his £ 73 billion net worth to buy something more exciting than the Honda Jazz he occasionally drove around in.
6. Warren Buffett – Cadillac XTS
Warren Buffett is pretty famous for making his billions on Wall Street with seriously savvy investments and for having a keen eye for when and when not to spend money.
Obviously, he doesn’t spend much of his £ 69 billion net worth on cars. The most interesting car he knows has a Cadillac XTS.
7. Google founder Larry Page / Sergey Brin – Tesla Roadster, Toyota Prius
We’d cheat a bit if we usually put two people together under one number, but there’s a very good reason for that.
Larry Page and Sergey Bring both have the small claim of starting Google, but their similarities don’t end there. Functional or not, both had identical cars in the past – namely a Tesla Roadster and a Toyota Prius each.

Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani, is worth more than £ 59 billion – and he’s not really hiding that fact.
He has a fleet of cars that include Rolls-Royces, Aston Martins, and BMWs among others, though one of them stands out from the rest.
His wife once bought him a completely personalized Maybach 62 as a birthday present. Seems like a pretty fitting gift for a man who has it all.
10. Amancio Ortega – Audi A8, Mercedes GL
Amancio Ortega is a fairly private character – he has only given three interviews in his entire life. Doesn’t seem like a man with companies like Zara under his belt and valued at £ 58 billion, does he?
Ortega’s desire to keep himself very private means that he is seldom spotted in an excessive lightning bolt, but has been spotted on occasion in an Audi A8 and a Mercedes GL.
