
Lando Norris became fond of golf last year and often spent his time on the course in mid-2021 of the F1 season. One such case occurred on the eve of his former teammate Carlos Sainz’s birthday, when the duo were playing golf together; This happened just one day before the start of the race weekend in Zandvoort, the Netherlands.

Now, a few months later, Norris seems to have found a new golf partner in former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh. The same thing was revealed by the McLaren driver on his Instagram story, where he posted a picture of the back of his golf kart with the names Norris and Singh printed on a sheet of paper.

He further dubbed it “Team of the Year”.
For those readers who don’t know who Yuvraj Singh is, the 40-year-old used to represent India in cricket and was even part of the squad for her 2011 World Cup victory. After a commendable stay, Yuvraj had to give up playing for a short time because he had cancer was diagnosed. But it wasn’t until a year later that he managed to return to the field.

Lando Norris’ ever-growing love of golf
This comes as no surprise to many, considering that Norris has arguably spent more time on the track than any other F1 driver on the current grid.
In 2020, Norris even believed that golf was the most physical sport he had to play in his life. Interestingly enough, he competes in Formula 1 and drives around in a car that produces as many G-forces as a fighter jet that flies in the air.

Overall, it’s pretty interesting that despite the end of the 2021 season, Norris keeps staying physically active and most of the other drivers are busy spending Christmas and New Years with their families.
