Daniel Ricciardo race engineer explains where to measure Norris

The engineer said, “Daniel, I think it’s worth trying again. You are fast at the exit of turn nine, which is very good, we lose three or four tenths at turn eleven.

“It looks like you took off a little early, which I don’t know if that’s traffic related and the top speed was a little slow.

” Lando is one gear higher on this corner, Lando accelerates earlier, but more progressively. To have a higher top speed, ”he added, Ricciardo confirmed the news and continued with his training session.

The Australian is hoping to improve on his McLaren stint

Ricciardo has not really worked out at McLaren this season as he has not yet made it into the top five of the six races.

However, Ricciardo is optimistic and believes that with the upcoming triple header he will have enough time to sync with the car and get the much-needed results for the team and himself this season.

The Australian showed good pace in the first session at Paul Ricard when he finished 6th in the time table. But in the second session Ricciardo couldn’t find his groove and fell back to 14th place.
