McLaren MP4-12 C
Via Reddit
The McLaren MP4-12C was the first supercar of the 21st century to be entirely manufactured by McLaren and was made to rival the Ferrari 458. On paper this was a better car. It was more powerful, faster and more technically advanced, but ultimately a 458 was easier to drive. Still, the 12C was a great car that started an exciting decade for the brand.

Under the hood was a 3.8 twin-turbo V8 that was used in many other Mclaren models. This was the car that McLaren put on the supercar map and really formed a base for it.

McLaren Artura
McLaren
The latest McLaren on this list, the McLaren Artura replaces the 570 S. It is the brand’s second hybrid and first V6 car. It’s also the first McLaren to use a proper name instead of a bunch of jumbled letters or numbers. The Artura puts out 671 horsepower and 431 lb-ft of torque, which is incredible.

The Artura can go from 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds and reach 205 mph at full throttle. A very fast car indeed, and it looks absolutely stunning. It can be easily used every day, but if you want to put a little bit into it, it definitely delivers. It’s a racing car, a GT and a full-fledged supercar in one.

McLaren SLR
Source: wsupercars
The Mercedes McLaren SLR was a spectacular super sports car that McLaren built in collaboration with Mercedes. It had hypercar performance at the time, but unlike its Ferrari or Porsche rivals, the SLR was more of a GT. When it was first launched, it was the fastest automatic car in the world and it went like a rocket.

Under the hood was a 5.4 liter V8 supercharger that developed 617 horsepower and 575 lb-ft of torque. It was a crazy engine that sounded like a fighter jet. It may have been a confusing car, but it is certainly one of the best McLaren’s ever built.

McLaren 570 S.
via Pinterest
The 570 S was a car that was very important to McLaren. As the brand’s first real entry-level model, it competed against the Audi R8 and Porsche 911 Turbo S. It was by far the most beautiful car of all.
Car shovels
The 570 S looked more expensive than it actually was. It also had the same engine used in the McLaren P1. The 570 S brought so many new people into the brand that they eventually switched to other cars like the 720s or the 600 LT.

McLaren 600 LT
Motor1
Basically a 570 S, but better. The 600 LT was a car that took aerodynamics to the next level. The LT was equipped with the iconic longtail spoiler and an aerodynamic carbon fiber body kit. The main party piece for this car, however, was the top-mounted exhausts that spat out flames.
about car advice
These were great and definitely made the 600 LT a supercar. The 600 LT looked amazing and really took cars like the GT3 RS Porsche to the extreme. This car showed what McLaren can do and they did it.
5
McLaren Senna
by bus
Naming a car after a racing driver is difficult, especially when you name a car after the most famous of them all. The Senna was launched back in 2018 and was spectacular. Based on the 720s, the Senna was a car that Ayrton Senna massively represented.

It was styled for a purpose rather than looks. The spoiler is massive and the other aerodynamics are insane. A controversial design, yes, but who cares? This car was designed with speed in mind and is a serious piece of kit.
4th
McLaren 675 LT
over top speed
The McLaren 650 S was the replacement for the 12 C, and it was basically the same car. The 675 LT, on the other hand, was a completely different car than the 650 S. It looks timeless, is stupidly fast and it is so much more modern. The 675 LT was a rival to the Ferrari 458 Speciale and the Lamborghini Huracán Performante and was a better car overall in our opinion.
Via Motor1.com
The 675 LT had the same engine as the P1 and 650S. The power is very interesting as it is the same number as the devil, 666 horsepower. The 675 LT does 60 in just 2.9 seconds and at full throttle this car does 205 mph.
3rd
McLaren P1
About autopixel
The P1 was a car that really made a statement for McLaren. As the first real hypercar since the SLR, the P1 was developed to compete with the Porsche 918 and Ferrari LaFerrari. The P1 had the same engine as the 12 C, but it was much more sophisticated.
The P1 got 727 hp out of its 3.8 biturbo V8. An electric motor brings out another 177 hp. Overall, this car has 903 horsepower, which is absolutely ridiculous. The P1 reaches 60 in 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 217 mph. It’s a very difficult car to drive, but it looks absolutely amazing.

McLaren 720 S.
from Facebook
The McLaren 720s completely changed McLaren. Many of their cars used to look the same. Its predecessor, the 650, was a great car, but it didn’t exactly stand out. The 720s, on the other hand, quickly became the top of their game. It looks and works like a spaceship.

The 720 was also a real monster around the track. It completely killed its competition in terms of overall performance. The only problem with this thing, however, was the write-off, which was absolutely ridiculous. Still, it makes this car a great used purchase.

McLaren F1
Via: Wikipedia
The best saved to the end, the F1 is in a class of its own. This car was launched in 1992 and is a total work of art. It is powered by a BMW V12 with 618 hp. That’s more than 100 horsepower per liter, which is crazy for such an old car. The F1 was also a center seat hypercar, which was very strange and also somewhat controversial at the time.
Via Robb Report
The McLaren F1 was a true F1 racing car for the road. No car can match it, and it’s by far the best car that has ever come out of Europe. No Ferrari could ever compare. What else is there to say? This car was the fastest in the world for a long time, with a top speed of more than 240 mph it is still the fastest naturally aspirated engine to this day.
