After another strong season, we all agree that McLaren driver Lando Norris could soon be a championship contender. Since his Formula 1 debut in 2019, the Brit’s career curve has only grown.

So much so that at 22 he became the lead actor in McLaren. And praise for its growth is not limited to external, but internal as well.
Andrea Stella, McLaren’s Executive Racing Director, spoke recently about Norris. He said: “I think Lando has developed in his third year in Formula 1 mainly in terms of pure speed.”

“I’m confident to say that he is one of the strongest drivers in the field in terms of sheer speed and I think that is true in all conditions.”
Stella emphasized the pole position and the subsequent near-win in Sochi as proof of Norris’ speed and talent. He described that the simple but hard key to meeting high expectations is persistence.
“I see an opportunity at Lando in consolidating these very high standards that he has achieved in every single session.
Lando Norris is confident about the 2022 season
Norris had revealed the confidence boost he had received from the 2021 season after the race in Saudi Arabia, which could help him from the start in 2022.
“I definitely feel a lot more confident if I suddenly struggled for a win in the first race next year, especially after being in the position in Russia that I was in that position, I think I feel very much in that position Safe, ”said Norris.

Next year will be his fourth year in Formula 1, so the margin of error for Norris will be low; but at the same time the rewards will be higher than ever.
