Motorists Concours d'Elégance at Pt Leo Estate

Modern art and cars worth more than $200 million – including a McLaren F1, Mercedes gullwings and more – converge in the fine diner’s 135-hectare sculpture park.

Mornington Peninsula’s Pt Leo Estate is one of the region’s finest restaurants – and home to a sculpture park with more than 40 works from renowned local and international artists. And for one weekend, it’s also showcasing millions of dollars’ worth of rare cars.

Concours d’Elégance is a global showcase of automotive excellence, featuring coveted vehicles (some worth $20 million just on their own). It’s been held annually on Lake Como in Italy since 1929, with other long-running versions in the US and UK. This is the first year it’s heading to Mornington Peninsula.

More than 70 treasured cars – from the brass era of the early 1900s through to more modern supercars – will be parked alongside the sculptures, including a McLaren F1 and McLaren Speedtail, a current F1 car from the upcoming Grand Prix (happening the weekend after Concours ), Mercedes gullwings, Bugatti Type 30, a 2.7RS rally car and more.

Pt Leo Estate has also prepared some packages for your visit: splurge on a twilight champagne reception, a VIP pavilion package with free-flowing champagne and Mediterranean grazing table, a three-course lunch with matched Pt Leo Estate wines and more.

General admission with no trimmings costs $225 per person.
