A new McLaren Speedtail has just been put up for sale in Dubai. This is one of only 106 cars slated for production. It is the spiritual successor to the McLaren F1, which uses the same central driver seat configuration among other special tribute features.
The car for sale here is listed at a price of $ 3.5 million, which is a significant premium over its starting price of $ 2.9 million. Understandably, since all 106 units were sold out immediately after the official announcement. New interested buyers must purchase one through a second-hand dealer.
This Speedtail has been painted in a special McLaren blue known as Dark Sapphire Pearl. The beige interior compliments the overall spec with options valued at $ 370,000. It is a new car with only delivery kilometers from the factory. The new owner will thus start a new journey with the hypercar from scratch.
The McLaren Speedtail is powered by a hybrid system that was learned from the P1. A 4.0 liter V8 twin turbo is combined with a parallel hybrid system eMotor to achieve a combined output of 1,035 hp. Due to its unique aerodynamic design, the Speedtail can reach a top speed of up to 250 mph, making it one of the fastest hypercars on the market.
