“It felt good to be back in the car and get things going again. It was a decent Friday, with very different conditions than last season in Turkey. It feels like a completely different track. I think we learned a lot today to prepare for tomorrow and the race. Friday was exactly what we needed and we’ll try to do better tomorrow. “

“First of all, it was fun in terms of the track and the grip. It was so different from last year and definitely more enjoyable. I would be very surprised if a driver says otherwise! It’s pretty fast and sections of it are pretty relentless which makes it just a good track to drive around. I think time doesn’t really represent the feeling in the car today. I feel a lot better than I do on the timesheets so let’s not worry about that. We still have some setup work to do, but nothing too crazy. We’ll carry on tonight, work productively and come out full of energy tomorrow. “

“The route we drove today is very different from last year’s. Our main goal today was to understand tire behavior in preparation for qualifying and the race. We had two good sessions, had no major problems and collected a lot of data. As far as preparation for the race is concerned, we are pretty well positioned, but of course we have qualifying before that and the forecast shows that the weather will be bad. It looks like it will be an interesting Saturday. “
