The Artura will be presented on August 13 at the Road and Track Clubhouse at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering, and two days later on the Pebble Beach Concept Car Lawn.

It builds on the legacy of the P1, which was a limited edition model, and benefits from more than 50 years of racing and road car manufacturing experience.

The Artura is based on the MCLA platform, short for McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture, which has been specially optimized for electrified models and is manufactured in the company’s Composites Technology Center in the UK.

It combines a new 3.0-liter V6 gasoline engine with two turbochargers with an electric motor, the 94. generated PS and 166 lb-ft (225 Nm) of torque.

The powertrain produces a combined braking power of 671 horsepower and 531 pound-feet (720 Nm), which accelerates from 0 to 60 mph (0-100 km / h) in 3.0 seconds. The support of the electric motor is a 7.4 kWh Battery that gives the super sports car a purely electric range of 31 km.

In addition to the electrified drivetrain, the Artura also has the first electronic differential from McLaren and a new rear suspension. In addition, improved electro-hydraulic steering and damping control are on deck, and the latest technical equipment is also available.

The Elva will accompany Artura to the event, which will start in a few days. The open cockpit vehicle can be ordered with or without a windshield and celebrates the M1A, M1B and M1C of the 1960s.

Production is limited to 149 cars worldwide, from the originally planned 399 units, which were reduced to 249 last year, and the two-seater Exot, which has a bespoke carbon fiber chassis, has a 4.0-liter V8 twin -Turbo engine shared with the Senna and Senna GTR.

Power is on par with the Senna, with the Lump putting out 804 horsepower and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque, directing it to the rear wheels via a dual-clutch seven-speed automatic transmission and accelerating it to 100 km / h (100 mph) km / h) in just 2.8 seconds and from 0 to 124 mph (0-200 km / h) in 6.8 seconds.

The Elva is McLaren’s lightest road car ever and was first introduced almost two years ago, accompanied by a price tag of $ 1.69 million.

The most important of the McLaren rides at the event will be an F1. Chassis # 029 of the legendary supercar was built in 1995 and spent most of its life away from the road in a Japanese private collection. As it stands, it is less than 242 miles (390 km) on the Odo and is in prime original condition.

And if you have tens of millions of dollars in your bank account and you have a great desire to buy it, you can because it’s auctioned by Gooding & Company at Pebble Beach Parc du Concours, on the corner of Stevenson Drive and Portola Street. The event will go live on the Goodingco website on Friday, August 13 at 5 p.m. PDT (8 p.m. EST / August 14, 2 a.m. CET).

“With its incredibly low mileage and attractive, unique color combination, this particular example represents an almost unprecedented opportunity to acquire an F1 practically in delivery condition,” said Gooding & Company Senior Specialist David Bryn. “This major car is sure to compete for the top sales of auction week.”
